Update: I found a fairly late incandescent install at the intersection of Milton Ave and Kettering St in Janesville, WI. There was a 5 section signal (with an LED red indication) that was installed sometime between 2007 to 2011, but was fully converted to LED sometime between 2011 to 2015 and by 2020 or 2021, it was replaced when the intersection was reconstructed.

MY halogen signal arrived today, a full metal casting 1989 Aldridge. It even has metal shades. The insides are full of some weird muddy substance (reminds me of kangaroo poo). I ran it twice before realizing that it wasn't earthed! Easy fix, but a little scary. :-\

Cool that you got it! I would definitely be scared if this happened to me!

Spotted one of the TCT 12-8-8 signals Toronto installed in 2012 still in use with a incandescent amber light last week. It still has a older non reflective backplate.

Cool! Are they still relamping these?

I'm not sure, given how long incandescent lamps last in the amber sections, these might still be using the original lamps.

I don’t think they would last that long because they’re probably on every minute or so. But I could be wrong.

In Melbourne, we do have incandescent traffic signals, but not many.

There are a few here and there in the suburbs of Milwaukee, but in the city of Milwaukee? None sadly.

Do you know of any neon pedestrian signals left down there?

Neon ped heads were prominent on the west coast (few were back east, but California had the most). The majority have since been removed but there are stragglers. Most are ICC's neon hand/man units. I have a half neon - half incandescent unit posted in my gallery which is still in service.

Don’t think they ever existed in my area, likely due to how poorly they preform in cold weather.
