This video is of someone putting a LED Lamp in a microwave, it looks quite cool watching the LED Filaments burn out!
It is a good video. It is also funny that the worst type of light bulb gets destroyed!  :eoled: :eoled: :eoled: :eoled: :eoled:
Here is the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jTLL4XrVrfY&t=2s

The URL has a timestamp (… &t=215s) that skips the video to a specific point in the video: the action started earlier, about 100 seconds into the video (i.e. … &t=100s).

Quite a late reply but it doesn't feel fair to call led worst, when made properly it's efficient, cheap, low mantinenace and has lots of freedom (like different style fixtures, colours and sequences).

These giant LED are quite expensive to buy here, not sure where this guy is based, but it seems a more common one would have been better for the job?

Very surprised to see the base of the bulb starts burning immediately after turning on the Microwave- It sort of shows how bad LED bulbs are if the SOX bulb's base did not burn

Guess that's a couple of Pounds/Dollars gone for this bulb  :eoled:

Quite sad seeing a bulb get destroyed, especially the shape of it-but quite fun watching it  :mrg:

Usually I collect bulbs (Mostly LED) and some HID ones. I also own a couple of streetlights, but most are made in Poland.

However, I mostly prefer SOX bulbs. LED bulbs in their efficacy will never beat SOX bulbs, in my opinion.
