Certain roads in Altadena had some but those roads are totally wiped out now, Pasadena hills, most notably Inverness Dr area has some pretty unique radial waves on ornate arms. Those are in the fire path as well so hopefully they hold up.

There's also some series FCO M-250As in Altadena too on ornate concrete poles.

Not Hollywood Hills, but some of the news segments on the Palisades fire showed one or two teardrops in Pacific Palisades. Might be worth looking around street view there.

Thanks guys.
@fluorescent lover 40 I saw those teardrops and was madly hunting around for a good half hour but with no luck, that's what got me thinking of starting this topic.

It seems that most lights not on timber poles survive fires quite well here with occasional melting of plastics but usually they survive just fine. All the lights I saw on the news in Los Angeles were fine.

Yeah all the lights on the news survived but all the remaining HPS on the burned/damaged wooden LADWP and SCE poles (mainly Malibu) will be replaced even if they still work most likely. Most of the LADWP lights are Series 115s from when they replaced most of the series incandescents around 2008-2012. The SCE lights in Malibu are a mix of mainly M-250R2s, M-400s (MSCL), and OVHs.

Lol true. A shame for Malibu though as a majority of the lights I saw there (on the PCH at least) were still HPS, and mainly M-400s. It was nice seeing all the HPS lights on mostly long arms and wooden poles. When they rebuild it'll probably be new poles and LEDs or underground wiring and LEDs on concrete poles.

Perhaps they'll use the new ernc and perhaps ernm. Then at least something interesting could happen.

Found some yearsrops in pacific palisades!
1217 las Pulgas Rd.
Have a good look up the road and down nearby streets because there are so many different types of side entry gumballs and teardrops everywhere!

They should do, it's the clean up and rebuild I'm worried about.

Speaking of damage to power infrustructure, I screenshotted this from youtube. Not sure exactly where it is though.

They are already replacing the downed power poles in Malibu and Pacific Palisades. The downed HPS in Malibu will be replaced with LED, some are already up. SCE doesn’t install as many Cooper HPS anymore. In Palisades DWP is replacing the downed poles with steel utility poles. The HPS and other HID in that area was replaced with LED a while ago.

Oh yes, there are plenty of old teardrops and gumballs all over LA and its suburbs. Here are some in Little Tokyo:
