Damn, those were super rare 60s Revo lights made for birmingham. They sucks! I remember seeing a news story about the people sawing down of 90ish year old copper poles and lanterns from La bridges and overpasses.

At least they caught him .   Hopefully they got the lights back also . Wonder if he was a collector ?  I'll bet the copper ones were just taken by scrappers

They were crudely sawn down with a hacksaw, I doubt that they wanted anything other than the copper.

This is being heavily debated on LR, there’s no way he’s done this on his own, or without some form of cherry picker, the weight of these alone couldn’t have been removed off a ladder? We think this IS a collector that knows how to get these off here?, the discussion continues 🤔

Don't know about the UK but you can rent a tow behind cherry picker from any rental place here in the US .
