have a 4 loop lights of china cfl where the outer loops are a smaller tubing than the inner.what is the purpose of this?

The bigger ones have a T3 diameter tube. It was pretty much the most used diameter on CFLs up to the mid-late 00s. The smaller tubing has a T2 diameter. A good part of CFLs today (but not all so far) use T2s.

this one has 4 u tubes.the inner look like t4 and the outer t3.
