Hello all, It is unfortunate, but Idk if I can keep my light fixtures much longer, and most likely be on this site (don't know for sure yet on the last one). I say that because, my grandparents and my aunt are very nosy and breach privacy and relaxation often. So, if I do have to sell, would anyone be up to coming down and picking the fixture(s) up? They will be free most likely. I won't be moving until early April so if I have to give up most of my lighting fixtures, I want to give them to you all instead of throwing them out. Could probably also trade for a singular street light fixture if anyone wants to even do that. Anyways, can't wait to hear your thoughts ! See you soon!

I’m really sorry to hear that. Btw, why are you moving into your grandparents house?

Is it possible you could look into getting a small storage unit to keep your collection in until the situation changes? I've done this and found it to be the best option, and I'd be afraid of regret later if you get rid of everything now.

True! though I don't want to use a storage unit mainly because I'm afraid that someone will break in and find something of worth and scrap it. Besides, I have a tandem fixture that I use as illumination in my current room so I want to use it in the new room instead of the dim ceiling light that is in there currently.

Nobody will break in your storage unit unless you're moving a super rare car there or something and someone with bad intentions happens to be watching. And even then, they are secure with locks, cameras, and the property is surrounded by a thick fence or brick/concrete wall.
I have some stuff stored at a storage unit in not the greatest looking area temporarily and I don't worry about them as the property is secure.
Good luck with your move.

I need to know if anyone is willing to either take some of my lights if I have to sell them or if they're willing to do a "trade" so that you get a big load of light fixtures to mod around with and I get in return 1 singular street light or something. Idk how you guys do trades honestly so I just threw that second part out there looool

Sometimes it just takes time and concerted effort to learn something new. Don't give up before you get there.

Sorry that no one has been commenting. Sadly, I won’t be able to get any fixtures as I live in Wisconsin. Good luck!

I mean, if you want a fixture, you could give away however much of your collection you wanted to get rid of and then message Francis (Francuacr75 on ebay) on ebay and see about getting a cobrwhead shipped ro you. He posts worldwide and has sox fixtures (no lamps), ge m250r2, m250a, m400a, itt 13 and 25, ael 125, ge mscl and mdcl. He may also have others.

I was thinking more alone the "trade" ideas like most of you do. I still can not find a job so I do not have money so I wouldn't be able to buy something from Francis. Also, doesn't he no longer have the fixtures?
