Vytautas van probably have a unibody structure. I think your car have a ladder frame structure like most American vehicles.

 NOT TRUE Dor !!!

98% of American made small and mid sized cars were unibody all the way back to the early 60's ! My pair of 1966 Ford Thunderbirds are BOTH UNIBODY !  Currently , the only American vehicles with conventional frames are pickup trucks and maybe some full sized vans !

rjluna's car is DEFINITELY unibody !

This vehicle is indeed unibody construction and was imported from Bupyeong-gu, Incheon, South Korea.

Yeah, I believe the Ford Crown Vic was basically the last body on frame construction car.

Like what @wide-lite 1000 said, body on frame is reserved from larger vehicles like pick-up trucks, full size commerical vans, and some mid to full size SUVs.

I believe there are some smaller EVs like the BMW i3 that are body on frame but those aren't that common.

Yep ! The Ford Crown Vic , Mercury Grand Marquis and Lincoln Town car all ceased production in 2011 . They were the end of conventional frame American cars. The 1st unibody American car was the 1941 Nash 600 . Around 1960 seems to be the common year that America's "Big Three" automakers all started to build Unibody cars .  As far as I can tell  , Gm ended Conventional frame cars in 1996 and Chrysler corp. killed them in the late 80's .

I don't think "Build as a rock" could be said about a Daewoo, but for the money Daewoo's are definitely not bad...
