For a while after knowing that the USA enacted a ban on full power halophosphate F40T12 fluorescent tubes, full power halophosphate F96T12 slimline fluorescent tubes, and full power halophosphate F96T12 HO fluorescent tubes without the “cold temperature” rating in 1995 and later banned most F40T12 tubes, F96T12 slimline fluorescent tubes, and F96T12 HO tubes excluding the “cold temperature” tubes without a CRI below 87 in 2012; I have been wondering if Canada enacted those fluorescent bans at around the same time or if there was a window of time where any “export only” F40T12 tubes, F96T12 slimline tubes, and F96T12 HO tubes without the “cold temperature” rating that were sold in Canada even after those EPACT bans took place.
