WW2 era 80W Bayonet fluorescents, aswell as a fixture for them, OR other WW2 Era « on: May 29, 2025, 08:53:52 AM » Author: tigerelectronics
I have always loved collecting historical pieces of lighting and audio equipment, and I have some fun pieces in my collection already. I have a small 2x20W day-brite sholight from around the mid 50's, for example. However, one thing that I have always wanted to get my hands on, is either a WW2 era fluorescent light fixture, aswell as the very special beyonet socketed tubes for them, OR, some other ww2 era 5 foot fluorescent fixture and tubes. But most of all, I would like the old british type with the bayonet sockets, and 80W 5 foot tubes. I am also open for other light fixtures and bulbs from this era, they do not have to be bayonet fittings, however, that would be an ultimate dream of mine, and it would make me truly so so happy to lay my hands on some and add to my collection.

So I am putting this up here in the wanted section, just in case, there might be one of you all out there, who may be willing to sell, trade , or in some other way, help me get my hands on my dream tubes, aswell as my dream fixtures. I do not care about how much it would cost me in shipping, and I also don't mind if it is a odd voltage fixture, as I have access to completely custom transformers if I need.

this is certainly not going to be an easy task, but, if I never put my interest out there, I may never be able to aquire these things I so badly want :)
