Hello all I’m back and I still love visiting and participating in the LG community   
 
I’ve been quite busy with a demanding and exhausting work life, a fantastic European vacation, volunteering with media and lighting production at my local church, and spending time with my family and friends. 2025 has been an extremely busy and exciting year for me.

It’s a little disheartening with incandescent and halogen lamps going extinct from mainstream stores. Those are my favorite types of lamps to collect, use, and post. Don’t worry, I’ve found a few lighting goodies from this year that I’ll be posting soon

Good to see you back man! I too have been busy with life, and have been taking a short unexpected break from Lighting Gallery. (In my case, it
was all due to unexpected bad situations. I'm working on getting things back on track.) I'm not quite back yet though, but I will be back soon.
And... I have got quite the treat for Lighting Gallery. There have definitely been some serious lighting changes on my end that are very much
worth posting, both pics and video. It's... pretty epic. lol

Welcome back! Sounds a bit like my world. I've got two young kids, a job that demands a lot from me, neverending home maintenance, a very active social life, and whenever I find a break in the chaos (and a few extra bucks) my hobbies. So I will be active on here for a while, then drop off the map - sometimes for months at a time - and reappear when things quiet down a bit.

I too am disappointed by the virtual eradication of incandescent lighting, but there is still a lot of neat stuff out there waiting to be discovered. It just requires a little patience and creativity. In fact, in some ways, the challenge makes this hobby a little more interesting.
