Before Osram made the HMI short-arc dysprosium lamp, they made an experimental HBI short-arc indium lamp, which had great advantages like no UV radiation. Why The HBI didn't made it to the entertainment industry, and the dysprosium HMI lamp did this instead?

@James: How dysprosium have better CRI, life and optical performance? At the very high pressure of the indium, the spectrum should be a molecular continuous spectrum, with only dips in the blue by the cold indium vapour pressure.
