What forwarding service do you use? « on: August 21, 2025, 06:08:42 AM » Author: HIDLad001
I want to buy some electrical stuff (including maybe lights) from the EU and the UK, but since most of the sellers don’t ship to the US (and the ones that do charge ridiculous rates), I am interested in forwarding services.

I want to know which ones you have had the best experience with, thanks!

I have tried Shippn.com and they seem to work very well for me. I used them to get my Sylvania SPX Eco Arc 69/108W high pressure sodium retrofit lamps from Kleinanzeigen, which is a German online secondhand website much like eBay is.

In some cases, I also PM’d some European members here on LG to help me get European market lamps shipped to me in the USA.

They generally di if you ask nicely. However due to your president policies, many shipping companies simply do not ship anymore to the US so there is no possibllity to ship even if we wished.

As of now, I understand that shipping company suspensions are temporary, but with no known date of when they will resume. So far, our member @Robotjulep did have some issues with lighting equipment imports lately since some lamps and ballasts seem to have been stuck in customs and some shipping companies having services suspended.

I have heard about Shippn, and they seem to be the best option. I had also heard about MyUS, but I read about a lot of people not exactly having good experiences with them
