If any of you have spare under-cabinet lights of this style, I might be interested in buying one.  Just send me a PM.

I ordered a pair of these.  They're intended to be hard-wired, but you could attach a cord.  They're not woodgrain, but they are F15T8 preheaters.

I found one in white at ReStore and a second white American Fluorescent popped up on eBay for a good price, so I bought it too and am all set for the time being.  Wood grain would be neat but is much less common, though I'm sure one would turn up sooner or later.  I might have spotted those Crescent fixtures as well, but I wanted the type with the rounded diffuser, so that it'd match my others.  Curiously manufacturers have all copied each other.  American Fluorescent also has a model that looks like the Crescent, but it has a cord and no starter socket.  That one is one of the fittings above my cabinets currently.

@Patrick – I have an F20T12 fixture that came with glue-on wood grain ends. If you want, I can send them your way. Not sure how it'd look, but it'll at least match in style.

Sometimes it just takes time and concerted effort to learn something new. Don't give up before you get there.
