The new CMH lamps range of GE, called CMH StreetWise and have similar efficiency and CRI to the CosmoWhite (Up to 111 lm/w and >70%).
However unlike the CosmoWhite (CosmoPolis in the US) which have a
2-pin base and can only be operated on a dedicated electronic ballast, the CMH StreetWise can be
operated directly on both magnetic and electronic ballasts of HPS lamps (Since they're available in the usual 50W, 70W, 100W and 150W of HPS lamps), have just a regular screwbase and can even be dimmed on magnetic ballasts. Also, while the Philips CosmoWhite (CosmoPolis is an american trademark that isn't belongs to Philips lighting Europe) have universal burning position, the GE CMH StreetWise is limited to horizontal burning position only.
