I am a young man wishing to start my street light collection and other special interests of mine (these others include bulbs, strip lights bollards, traffic lights and belisha beacons to name a few... there are quite a lot)
Up until recently, I have been looking at eBay as well as reaching out to local authorities/councils. Unfortunately due to Health and Safety, they have said they are unable to rehome street lights to me.
I am restricted on funds so have been looking out for rescue opportunities but yet to come across a street light.
When I add an item to my special interest collection, I take very good care of them. I enjoy cleaning and restoring them.
I have taken great inspiration from this community.
For street lights, I like a wide range of all different makes and models however I am particularly interested in adding Indal Arc to my collection to get me started.
If anyone has any streetlights that they wish to rehome, I can guarantee a good home for them. Alternatively, any suggestion or advice on how to grow my collection with limited funds, would be greatly received.
