What was the last MLB stadium in the USA to use mercury vapor lighting? « on: October 09, 2025, 02:30:50 PM » Author: WorldwideHIDCollectorUSA
After knowing that there had been a time when American MLB baseball stadiums used 1000W H36 mercury vapor fixtures with dedicated 1500W ballasts for increased light output for lighting their fields for nighttime games, I am aware that they pretty much eventually upgraded to 1500W M48 probe start metal halide fixtures and later LED fixtures at some point for better color rendition to allow color TV viewers to properly watch nighttime baseball games on their TV sets.

I am beginning to wonder which MLB stadium in the USA was the last one to use mercury vapor lighting for nighttime games and when they decided to change over to 1500W M48 probe start metal halide or LED.
