I suppose people are finally realizing the dangers of LEDs. They contain WAY too much blue in their spectrums, which is pretty bad for our eyes and even our bodies. Take the spectrum of a 4000K LED, for example:

I really only see this situation happening if someone continues to buy really cheap LEDs and is unimpressed with their lifespan, but even then HIDs aren't super accessible anymore so I would assume this is a pretty rare occurrence.

Well, this lamp radiates just a right amount of blue light energy to get 4000K color temperature and to stay on blackbody locus, to be able to be called white lamp. Strictly no more or no less. You have a "science" in you name so I suppose you know how to integrate. Am I right? ;)
