Questions about the Iwasaki/EYE Colorarc MTD70SDW-7S/3500K Ra96 « on: January 21, 2026, 09:35:59 AM » Author: dor123
Here, https://trad-lighting.net/gallery/displayimage.php?pid=900 , I found that Max saying that the SDW (3500K) and the SW (4500K) have Dy-Tl-Cs (the same chemistry of the Osram HQI-BT 400W/D) and that the 5500K have Dy-Nd-Cs.
He also saying that the thallium is the halide that absorbs the blue part of the spectrum in the 3500K and the 4500K (And so have brown vapor and afterglow at turning off the lamp).
However, as you can see at the attachment, the thallium line in my lamp is narrow, so how it absorbs the blue radiation enough to get 3500K in my lamp?
Also: Why my lamp have so narrow arcstream if cesium is presents?
