Hello from my IBM POWER S824 RISC server (and what is the oddest way to use LG?) « on: April 14, 2026, 08:19:06 PM » Author: HIDLad001
I am sending you this message from Lynx via SSH into my server. It is running Fedora Linux 43 (Server edition) and has 12 cores, 128 threads (yes, 128) spread across 2 POWER ISA CPUs, 128gb of RAM, and enough PCI to make any mini-ITX user cry
Probably the first time LG has been accessed from a once $20,000 machine that is a little over 10 years old, but still performs well.

More importantly, what is the weirdest way you have accessed (or even posted to) LG?
I have already seen people use LG on smart fridges and car infotainment systems, but does anyone else have anything more interesting?

I like math, lighting, computers and electronics(but I detest fractions and pointless ruinage of lovely old stuff). LEDs should be better thought out. they are actually quite good if they are good quality. They should be built to a long actual life not to a cheap price!
