I am wondering if anyone recognizes the brand or model of this particular outdoor globe light. This is a fixture that used to be mounted outside of our house, but it was removed before we moved in. I would like to try and find another of the same fixture (or one that looks similar) to install in the same location, but I can’t seem to find one quite like it.

The fixture is designed to be mounted atop of a pillar. It resembles a typical flush-mount outdoor globe light fixture, but it has a large cylindrical base instead of a smaller, more tapered style one. The cylindrical base appears to have a bronze or brass finish to it. The shade is probably 8” or 10” dia. and has a white/milk finish. The fixture was likely manufactured in 1989.

Does anyone recognize this light fixture? I apologize that the image quality is so bad, it was taken from an old Google Street View capture.

@LightsoftheWest - Yep, that is similar to what I’m looking for. In fact, that is probably the most similar that I’ve seen so far. The only difference is that the base on the one I’m looking for is wider and doesn’t have a lip at the top. If I can’t find an exact match for the original fixture, then that may be what I get. Is it incandescent, LED, HID, CFL, or retrofitted LED?

I see a dim hue on the camera so there is probably a dying LED bulb inside it

@Lightingeye60 - The fixture is off in the picture. The image was taken in 2011, there’s no chance there was a failing LED bulb in it. I didn’t even know that this house existed before five years ago, I have no clue what bulb was in the fixture. All I know is that it is almost certainly made for incandescent bulbs.

Any updates? Did you ever get a fixture?

Unfortunately no. I have no idea what this fixture is. I have looked at many fixtures and I can’t even find one like it.
