| Hello to everyone. I heard from local seller that Philips shut down Polish plants and that they will no longer supply markets with Polish bulbs ?

| I understand that yes they have shut down most of the lampmaking in Poland and moved to India and China, but not all. A few niche products are apparentlly still being made in Poland.

| I believe Philips still makes T12s in Poland in the HO and slimline configurations. Someone mentioned he saw some HOs made in Poland in March 2026. The reminder of the fluorescent production come from India now.

| Yeah, the F17T8s and F32T8s which were briefly made in Poland have now switched to being made in India like their T12 counterparts. I'll have to check the HO lamps next time I'm at Home Depot since they still stock the F48s and the F96s.

Sometimes it just takes time and concerted effort to learn something new. Don't give up before you get there.

Rare white reflector

| Philips still makes some automotive headlamp bulbs in Poland. I just found out today. Came across these at an Ace Hardware store. In other things I noticed, the Philips 7443 wedge base bulbs are made in Japan, and the rest say Designed in Germany, then Made in China. Also the Philips automotive group isn’t owned by Signify but by Lumileds. I tried to attach photos here but they are too large. Any suggestions?
