Downsizing my collection significantly (While supplies last) « on: May 30, 2026, 11:45:39 PM » Author: Robotjulep
Hello everyone,

I have accumulated so many large HID fixtures in the past years that I need to downsize.

I got many floodlights and street lights I'd be willing to give away. I plan charging $20 per light just because of the gas costs and time it takes on my weekends to remove them from the downed poles at my jobsite.  If you take more than one light, $10 per fixture. If you take at least 5 lights, then it is $5 per light. Not trying to make money off these, just want these lights to find a new home rather than to be scrapped. Will try to work out the best deal for you. If you want them to be shipped, you just have to pay shipping costs and the light is free. Please note that shipping is very expensive for these at least $100 or more.

The floodlights I have available are as follows:

-GE powerflood late model 1000w metal halide floodlights. (I have 2 available)

-Cooper lighting lumark nighthawk 400w metal halide floodlights. (I have 4 available)

-Lithonia Hi-Tek floodlights 400w metal halide (I have 2 available)

If you want some floodlight arms/brackets for a floodlight, I can include them for free.

The streetlights I have available are as follows:

-Damaged Holophane mongoose with missing ballast fits up to 400w lamps (free)

-AEL series 13 and plastic crouse hinds refractor (Ballast is bad but tell me which ballast you want swapped in) max wattage is 250w (No longer available)

-Holophane RSL-200, 175w mercury vapor or metal halide (No longer available)

Please note that all my metal halide fixtures are compatible with like wattage mercury vapor lamps. All lights have been tested and in working order. (I won't sell junk).

-Cobraheads and streetlights will have to be packed very securely and shipping may be extra.

Ballasts I have:

400w Mercury vapor ballasts, fcan type indoor 120/277v CWA ballasts for H33 lamps

(These only work with mercury vapor lamps or EYE sunlux super ace 360w HPS retrofit lamps)

4 available now.

I have some small wattage ballasts as well such as 100w MH, 150w MH, 250w MH ect.

I also have some 400w Metal halide 208v ballasts they only work on 208v.

Ballasts are $5 each

Lamps I have:

-Phillips china 400w HPS lamps (4 available)

-Sylvania Osram BT37 400w MH lamps (about 8 available)

-GE Savent 175w metal halide lamps (4 available)

-GE Hungary clear 175w mercury vapor lamps (about 3 available)

Lamps are $5 each, if you get a compatible fixture, they are free.

I got some metal pipes for DIY light poles as well but those are to be picked up locally only.

Please note that floodlights, arms, ballasts, and lamps are first come, first serve. I will place holds on the cobrahead light fixtures, but not the floodlights or other lighting equipment as I need those gone ASAP.

the 100 watt MH ballast is for probe start and would run 100 watt mercury?

@CanadianEmergencyLights :Shipping would be from anywhere between $100-$200 because they are so large. Send me a PM if you are interested in getting one.

@Richmond2000 Sorry, that AEL 13 is no longer available. I forgot to update that a while ago. I have already gave it away to a friend. About those 100w MH ballasts, they are pulse start and better off running pulse start or 100v HPS lamps off them. They probably can run 100w MV but it would overdrive them due to these PSMH ballasts putting out more current.

I recently got a NOS Norelco dusk-to-dawn 175W mercury vapor fixture, so I'm interested in the three bulbs. Do you have any ballasts that would work with those bulbs?

How low wattage of HPS ballasts do you have? Currently I have 35W and 70W HPS fixtures in operation outside my house, but I do not have any spare ballasts for them.

@Hertz2006 I dont have any low wattage HPS ballasts for trade sorry.

As for MV ballasts 175w, I currently sold all my 175w ballasts that I was willing to sell but am keeping the other 175w ballasts so I won't be able to provide a ballast at the moment. I can provide the 3 bulbs though. I got plenty of

400w Metal Halide lamps if you interested. You would need a 400w metal halide ballast to use them though. They got plenty of cheap 400w MH ballasts on eBay if you want to be able to use 400w lamps.
