Revised List of Fluorescent Lamp Sizes « on: June 10, 2026, 05:29:55 PM » Author: Emersyn
Since the old list was full of many inaccuracies, I got rid of it and made a new one in a Google Sheets this time! I worked through almost every part of the sheet, got rid of many things that were wrong/most likely wrong, found sources, and also added a lot of stuff. Even though I wasn't able to find sources for all the lamp voltages and currents, everything that is left on there now should be correct. When I had multiple sources, I tried to choose the newest one (though most didn't have much of a choice). So I hope it's much better now!

Here's the link: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1d-gcY8v07y0ZyGBGUnOvOYo-JNs3kJJCM7Xmv6h7q64/

Anyone can comment on it and then I'll add it! I still have a few more things to add (some PL stuff, energy saving lamps, etc.) and the formatting in a few parts is weird, but I think for the most part it's good! Please let me know if anything needs to be corrected!

Very nice list, that is very helpful. Got all the T5 HE and HO lamps I need and a good start on u-bent.

As to possible corrections, the F13T5 says 21W and 13" length, probably meant 13W and 21" length. I believe the same may have happened to F10T8 and F13T8.

What other u-bents are there? I thought I had them all!

Oops, I just fixed those, but I'm not fully confident about what I have for length. So if anyone could verify the tube lengths for f10-f13.5t8 that would be nice

Here's an addition you can make: F10T12, length 13.5 inches (same length as F10T8)
Unfortunately there's not much info about it,  other than

@Emersyn
What I meant is that not all voltage and current specs are there for the u-bents, not that you were missing any. I just have to be on the lookout for datasheets, thats all

I added it! I put it under preheat for now but I'm not 100% sure it belongs in that category.

Ohh yeah, I haven't looked for any yet but I may loo later!

I don't know if this is appropriate or not, but there's also some standard HO T5s like 11w (size of F6T5), 16w (size of F8T5), 25w (size of F14T5), 36w slimline (size of F21T5), 36w (size of F28T5) but all are germicidal lamps (same shape as fluorescent)...

@LightsAreBright27 I haven't added germicidal lamps just yet, but when I do, I will be sure to add those!

@rapidstart_12 Thank you for the dates! Would you like me to list you as the source in the sheet? Also to clarify, the F25T8 is the 48" energy saver lamp right?

@Emersyn - You’re welcome. You can list me if you want, or you can list these catalogs as that’s where I got the information:

F32T8: 2004 Sylvania Catalog
F25T8: 1982, 1984 Sylvania Catalogs
F40T8: 1982, 1984 Sylvania Catalogs
F17T8: 1984, 1986 Sylvania Catalogs
F40T12/ES 35W: 1975 GE Catalog and LampTech.co.uk
F40T12/ES 34W: 1975 Westinghouse Catalog

The F25T8 is the 3ft lamp.
