| What I’ve been noticing lately is that some of the first generation Cree LED bulbs seem to be going purple like the Autobahns, and I’ve heard of people saying their Cree LED bulbs actually turned purple.
And, I’ve seen it myself, at a restaurant and both first generation Cree bulbs had a bit of purpling of the diodes. Haven’t seen this failure in any other brand of household LED bulb.
This issue seems to primarily affect the first generation Cree.
