Now that my upstairs loft can be successfully "air conditioned" with my floor fan downstairs, I've developed a plan, and I will be purchasing ping pong
balls and paddles soon. When I bring friends over, I plan on playing "Light Table Ping Pong," using my light tables. Obviously, ping pong balls won't do
any damage, to anything, so this would be a safe game to play.
The rules:
1. If the ping pong ball lands on the floor, the person who hit the ball is out/loses.
2. Both players must be sitting on both metal folded chairs provided. Whoever gets up to try and hit the ball is out/loses.
3. If the ball hits one of my fake plants, the person that hit the ball, wins.
4. If the ball hits the table and the opponent fails to hit the ball, the person that hit the ball, wins.
5. I will turn OFF the light table of the person who had just lost the game.
This would be a very fun game, and probably the only game available to play that isn't a video game, upstairs... as all board games and card games will
be played on the round table, downstairs.
What do you guys think? Does this sound like a possibly epic game? I don't see much that could go wrong. 🤣

Here's an idea I think you might like. Use some UV fluorescent or LED background lighting for that arcade atmosphere. Since you never use your ceiling fan light, you could consider putting in a color changing bulb to take it up a notch.

That's a tough call... I've thought about it though. I may add some background lighting for parties..., but they would definitely all be hidden
from view... maybe behind my TV, and cabinets, and behind other places up there that I can think of. Definitely a black light in that ceiling fan as
well!. But, even with all of these fluorescent lights on, I bet I could still make this idea very epic/fun.
If I do start adding party lighting to the mix, I'm going to use different smart plugs, and a different app, to control those party lights.
Not necessarily going for the arcade style in the loft, but if I change my mind someday, I bet creating more of an arcade style would be easy to achieve!
