I prefer LED filament lamps both clear and coated. LED filament lamps seems to have longer life than snow cone LED lamps. Also coated LED filament lamps, have less glare than clear LED filament lamps.

I prefer clear LED filament bulbs for open applications and coated ones for enclosed fixtures. However, some open fixtures look good with coated lamps.

If the light fixture has clear glassware, then I use clear LEDs plus it makes them sparkle. Everything else gets the usual frosted bulbs.
