I was recently hired for an intern and co-op position at Acuity Brands. I visited their career fair here at Purdue... I spoke to two interviewers. I was called back at the conclusion of the fair (by phone#) by my interviewer... he asked me to swing by their booth. Waiting for me was their Senior Vice President of Global Supply Chain / Manufacturing, Javier Gonzalez Caballero, as well as head of HR. We spoke, and it's official. I am starting at their Crawfordsville plant in the manufacturing and supply side on May 15th. Afterwards, they are keeping me for a semester-long Co-op. And afterwards, year over year, they will continue to provide me internship positions for the summer. A literal dream come true. I am still in complete and utter shock. I have been in college for a whopping four weeks at this point.

Thanks you all. @Multisubject — I will be rotating through roles. The starting role will be on the Supply Chain and Manufacturing side. VP of Mfg said I will start at Crawfordsville, but eventually end up in Conyers, GA and Monterrey / Nuevo Leon, Mexico. Eventually, I will be rotated through different positions as well, particularly design in the outdoor luminaires division as well as software solutions / AI.

Indeed, it is. I'm excited for the opportunity to work a job that, at its core, is my lifelong passion.  And it was Lumileds' fault I believe. Other brands, ie Visionaire and Leotek had identical issues as well.
