I noticed many mercury vapor streetlights were changed out to high pressure sodium in Indiana Township PA and I just got word from one of the administrators that the rest of them will be going too.

It's definitely a shock to me since Indiana Township used to love mercs. :'(

Here's a copy of the letter I got from the administration:

Mr. Mook:

Yes, a representative from Duquesne Light came in the other day, and has advised that they will be.  They indicated it may take awhile to do this.

Question: Are all the old streetlights in Indiana Township gonna be replaced with high pressure sodium ones?

Just curious because I noticed several streetlights were replaced with 70 watt high pressure sodium fixtures.
