It arrived safe and sound.  It is modified with a flip switch, and has a starter inside with the ballast.

The Bulb.... OH MY   OH MY   OH MY !  It is a F15T8D   and a brass ended ( !!!!!)  Kenrad !

Lots of hours on the lmap, and picture will be uploaded shortly.  The pinkness is what happened when I brightened the image.

Even the modification is interesting, it implies that some people didn't like manual preheat (of found them old-fashioned) and were able to add a starter themselves.

I'm looking forward the photos of the Ken-Rad! How is the tint?

I expect the push to start switch failed, and they added a toggle switch and starter I have modified 2 lamps I have that way. The daylight is a nice color.
