Duro-Test bulbs « on: February 14, 2012, 09:08:37 PM » Author: tripacer
Part of my collection is an assortment of Duro-Test bulbs, some which I bought at garage and yard sales over the years and some that I bought from a former or maybe retired Duro-Test salesman in Palm Desert, CA.  Some are clear, some frosted and they have various shapes and some are 'wrapped' with what appears to be a fine filament, probably glass that is embedded in a clear coating, maybe an epoxy. Some are rated for long life, as much as 7000 hrs.  I would like to know more about the age of these bulbs.  They have been part of my collection for around 20 years and there isn't a lot of info on the web sites I looked at.  Any info that anyone can share with me would be appreciated.  I hope you will be able to view the picture I attached.  Thanks
