Websites to buy european lamps and fixtures that aren't available in Israel? « on: April 14, 2012, 07:53:13 AM » Author: dor123
I want to know websites to buy european lamps and fixtures that aren't available in Israel.
Amazon.com isn't the address for me, since all of the lamps that sold there are for the american market only.

Please forgive me if my choice of my words looks like offensive, while that isn't my intention.

I only working with the international date format (dd.mm.yyyy).

I lives in Israel, which is a 220-240V, 50hz country.

Ebay also sells only american lamps, and also, this is a site for auctions and not for free buying.

It is true, the Ebay was coined as an auction site, but it become the marketplace for many e-shops businesses, so there are plenty of places to buy stuff.
And it is true, most of them focus on the US market, but there are many international (well, most of them from China). For local you have to dig longer and use keywords in different languages.
But as most lighting equipment is bulky and/or fragile, there are general problems with the transport...

Is there an Israeli version of the ebay site, as there is for other places? This should show up local results first. Bulk/fragility is definitely an issue though.
