It came with one starter.... and I put another in and 2 bulbs and it fired right up. Not knowing if I would get a FLASH!  BANG !!!!     I used 2 lamps I didn't care about.  The reflector was painted. It has turned beige. So I sanded on it, er, um, it was painted beige....

A good cleaning is in the future for this.....

WOW!! Nice score!  It is the baby brother to so many of the lights I have!  I noticed it says "power factor corrected".  Does this have a "Tulamp" style ballast or a cap added between the mains and the "choke" ballasts?

I need to take the reflector off for painting so I will find out shortly I may wash the reflector in the tub and use some Ajax / Comet /  === abrasive kitchen cleaner to see what that does first. It looks like it had been painted in the past as there are paint runs on the reflector. I have a new HPF tulamp ballast ready if need be, but running hours the base was only nominally warm.
