Would like an opinion on a PAR38 lampholder « on: July 07, 2012, 06:52:10 AM » Author: tmcdllr
Which of these would you pick?

1)

2)

3)

It will house a PSMH lamp and may or may not be used outdoors. I like all 3 but can't decide yet.

I second Ash. Number 3 is the more classic, less prone to go out of style and in my opinion, looks best.

I think all options are prone to their "fashion waves". The first two shapes more correspond to 50-60's, when round shapes were popular, while the last one to 70-80's, when sharper edges were "in". For 90's and start of 21 century the round ones were again more preferred shape.

So either you choose, it will be both "in" and "out", as the time would go...

I'm torn between #1 and #3, although I'm leaning towards 3, I guess that's because I'm from the 70's and I still like that kind of design. :)

Thanks for the replies, I think I'm going with #3. When I get this put together I'll post pics.
