I already understood that the L-Prize, is a bribery that Philips recieved from the US Department of Energy (DoE), especially from their remote phosphors LED lamp (Which I simply called it L-Prize lamp), and Philips paid for the DoE in order to recieve the "award". I don't know if the DoE plans to present the L-Prize again in the future or that this was a one-time event, that willn't be occured anymore.
