I got a 24 inch 18 watt green. Brighter than bright.

I had to buy a case of the TLD 18W/865 as Master TLD. WOW! Nice and bright. They were 99 cents each.

You are refering to T8s? I hope they don't ban those T8s I don't fancy T5s as they look very odd for general lighting and no point also since they only save some watts.

Yes, but remember this is a USA company that was selling these European lamps.... The 18 watt lamp works fine.
