This old brochure from 1961 tells a litlebit about history of Airam and what they did at start of 60's. Its a kind of sad reading if you think that novadays Airam is almost completely bare import company. Originally it was Finnish but I did rough translation to English. There are probably some mistakes but I hope you can understand enough. .PDF file is pretty large, around 30mb.

I'm afraid it's been the fate of many local companies. The same with our Tesla. They kept manufacturing a limited range of car headlight halogen lamps and the rest is imported - sometimes packed into Tes-lamps boxes but mostly just resold. Rarely, they perform minor modifications such as attaching heat sinks to LED modules etc.
