heres an old Military Signal Corps generator from 1943.  uses a 2 cycle Jacobsen engine and outputs 300 watts.  as a sidenote, the bulb in the trouble light its running is a 130v 100w Sunbeam rough service bulb.  ;D

Nice-remember seeing surplus companies ads in Popular Mechanics selling these and other surplus gensets.Figure it was used for powering radio sets in the feild.
