Rewiring a PC holder « on: December 07, 2015, 08:33:22 PM » Author: Solanaceae
The wires leading to the PC holder in my LM gumball are getting crusty, and the wire joints up where they're connected to the contacts are are becoming weak. I believe this is a PC where I can take it apart and get the contacts out, then cut the wires and solder new leads on. I see a thing on eBay of "high temp wire TGGT 16 AWG 600 volt 250°c 482°f". It's priced for over $7 per each 10 foot length. Any opinions, I believe this is the type of wire on my leviton LPS lampholder. It's fiberglass insulated too.
