I have a bunch of F4T5 lamps and I can only run them on a battery powered fluorescent fixture that isn't very good and also underdrives lamps. I don't want to ruin the lamps by running them in the fixture. Thanks

They still would need to get the ballast, and I think that is why they are looking to buy a complete fixture. Plus, it can be quite hard working with sheet metal which I have found out the hard way before.

Be wary of light bulb depot...I don't think they actually have those preheaters anymore.  I tried to order an f4t5, f6t5 and f8t5 preheat strips from there about 2 yrs ago only to never receive them and then have to fight to get a refund which they didn't want to do.  I ended up having to have my credit card company call them and threaten to report them as fraudulent before they finally credited the money back.

That being said I did end up getting 2 f4t5's on ebay...I might be persuaded to part with one.  Do you have anything available for trade?

Maybe I just had bad luck...but you'd think if they had the product they'd just have sent it after multiple complaints.  I wanted the lights...but it was a hassle to even get my money back.  I fought it for months.
