My Sylvania F34T12 lamps running on a shoplight with an electronic ballast, in close to freezing temperatures.

i've seen this happen before,my school uses Flourescent light fixtures,and when they first come on all of them striate,and flicker...during the this time they also hum fairly louldly,after about 10 minutes,the striations and flickering dissapear,as well as the ballast hum..and by the way my school uses boring instant start tubes,thoses are my least favorite of all tubes!!!....come to think of it i dont see much preheats anymore,now those have character,especially the very blinky ones!
