Your collection of incandescent lamps « on: May 27, 2008, 12:31:54 PM » Author: Foxtronix
Describe your collection of incandescent lamp: How big is it? How many lamps, brands of lamps, shapes, (etc.) you have?

I have around 40 lamps in 3 brands (GE, Globe electric and Sylvania) and 3 shapes (A19, A21 and BR30).

1 big box of NOS old lamps, Jace and Colin Grimes have some. A few nice GE softone lamps, a few dozen wire ended 28V lamps, a few patterned 12V festoon lamps and a few others. I also have the 2 headlamps out of my written off car, they survived the totalling without damage, the housings protected them very well.

I have over 100 incandescents from streetlighting to auto to household to stage lights. From 1910 up to 2008. Just wish I had time to get pics and album together.  :(

Yeah it's a bit of a challenge maintaining this large collection and it fills like half of the two car garage space LOL. I also have a bunch of fluorescent, HID, 20 street lights and about 10 fluorescent fixtures.

Vince don't worry your collection will grow, just make sure it won't exceed your available manageable space. I like the bulbs you have been posting on L-G.

Darren it sounds like you are not that much of an incandescent fan, right?
