									| The wifi is not related to the lighting operation. It is either provided by the city for people to use. or for reading smart meters etc. The streetlight is however about the only thing installed in the street, getting power (without needing to install a new service for every wifi AP)
 What is ridiculous about some of those wireless systems - They could of left the antenna inside the luminaire (in the optical compartment, or in case of luminaire body made of Fiber - anywhere in the luminaire) and it would work the same, there is no need to poke the antenna out...

									| its a demo unit.5mm wont do squat up on a pole but close to the floor at a trade show they would be fine.
 and good 5mm on a board with heavy copper traces will last.
 problem is most 5mm are garbage.
 unless cree,nichia,yuji,ect.
