That sounds like it was really fun. I really enjoy long road trips too.

It was and I also found out that I'm not a suburb person, I'm a city person and so are they
I like those grid-locked streets and those concrete jungles and the people walking around looking happy

The three of us from Colorado on here probably all feel the same, it's Colorado or bust!  We love it here.

I've been through Colorado on the train when I've done the Amtrak coast to coast trip. Stopped in Denver for a couple of days and visited the railroad museum, but unfortunately didn't have time to do much else on that trip. Maybe another day, it looks a nice area.

Very cool!  You likely visited the railroad museum in Golden.  Awesome place.  I need to spend more time up there.  Nothing like taking the Amtrak thru the mountains of Colorado.  One of these days I am going to do that.

Yes, it was a good place, it was a few years ago now though, so don't remember exactly where it was. Would like to visit again, though.

I'm actually not all that far from it (maybe a 30-45 minute drive).. but don't believe I've ever actually been there, unless it was when I was young...
