Would you pay $200 for a light bulb? « on: April 07, 2018, 06:43:42 PM » Author: F96T12 DD VHO
I was at Best Buy in Colorado Springs and I saw an LED bulb that had an option to change the color temp(2700K-6500K), plays music from bluetooth, changes to "every" color you can think of, and can be activated from Amazon Alexa It was from Phillips
Do you think it's worth the price?
I don't because you can find a bulb that does the same not mentioning the bluetooth for music and Alexa for about $40 or less, and the speakers have no bass anyways

Nope. I wouldn't pay that much for the rarest lamp on earth, never mind an LED.

Why would I want a lamp to play music..? I have a perfectly good stereo system for that..!  ???

Just another way to promote the crap LED, by putting something "smart" and "amazing" inside it...

Nahhh I can't forsee myself paying for a light bulb. I have my own speakers and am happy enough with my many HID lights. Nothing against LED but I prefer the cooler stuff. (IMO)
