Sort of, the upsweep has a smaller curve and the  ellipticle has a tapered arm.

Curved truss-arms are my favorites, followed by the unsweep, then, the tapered elliptical.

around tyler upsweeps and double guy wire,and forked double guy wire arms are common,around here the utility still puts new lights on those real old general electric arms.

however 30 miles east in longview the truss arm is most common.

I love my area arms, the Truss arms that BGE uses

Also I like those Tapered Es and the tapered elliptical with THICK double guys   PSE&G uses in New Jersey
