My problem with the OVX is the fact that 250 and 400 watt light sources in that confined of a space would tend to overheat more easily.  Plus the design is quite gaudy.

They are not bad looking, I perfer them as FCO. I have one myself. Sadly it's a 250w HPS but neat to have.
