Would a UK 6 foot 70 watt T8/6 foot 85? watt T12 preheat choke work for 75 watt mercury vapor lamps?

Your best bet would be to get a 75w MV ballast.
The UK choke might just work (basically like other chokes, originally designed for both)...but I'll let one of the UK guys/gals chime in on that...
