Ok, since now TXDOT is putting LED high mast fixtures on high mast poles, they just install six of them on the pole. Why? Because with HPS high mast fixtures its twelve (in 400w), but for LEDs its six. Why is this?

The output of the LEDs and the brighter color means less output needed compared to having to jam a bunch of higher wattage less efficient HPS fixtures on there.
