Nice looking LED Post tops, yes you read that right! « on: December 26, 2018, 10:08:58 PM » Author: 589
I think its about time some folks started to put out some aesthetically pleasing fixtures that look to be low on glare in addition to being available in 3000k. RAB seems to be stepping up to the plate here and I'm quite pleased. I like clean modern designs and that seems to be their dig. I started looking at what RAB had after using their AJ lights for MV conversions and I just installed a ENTRA 12W LED for my parents in law on their back porch. I've been quite pleased with the functional as well as aesthetic design of both units. Also, both are well made in addition to being easy to service and install. Digging further into their lineup looks like most if not all of their LED offerings are also available in 3000k.

I don't care for that model. However their other post top model intrigues me.

The best ones I’ve seen here are Sylvania’s Concord Skyline

These seem to be really common at churches for some reason.

Yes I think they'd be better with a prismatic or opal bowl.

With the long bowl, it gives the diodes ‘room’ to light the road below, but at the same time, without a lamp in there it’s just pointless wasted space!!  ???
