Lamp of the Day « on: September 19, 2019, 09:19:20 AM » Author: Mandolin Girl
In our previous existence we had a thread for Lamp of the Day, we are planning to resurrect it, but will add a link to a photo of the lamp in a dedicated gallery.  :)

Look out for the first one later today   :a_sox:

Our first lamp of the day is our Philips 60W SO/H lamp that we got from James Hooker.

The lamp unlit
here it is warming up
and at full brightness

Some of the pictures will have been posted previously by Ria when we first got them, but these are updated ones.

Today's lamp is our MA/V lamp, which required a small repair. Thanks to Andy for pointing us in the right direction to do it.  8)

Here it is at full brightness.  :) :mv:

Today, our lamp is this GE 120V 160W self-ballasted mercury lamp.

We don't have a picture of it lit at the moment, but it's just warming up now, so we'll post one soon  8)

Today's post brought this lamp.
A very interesting concept in street lighting from Russia.

Sammi, who has the strange but at the same time rather wonderful habit of naming anything and everything, living or dead, animate or inanimate, has christened this latest acquisition "Anton" after Anton Philips  ;D

We took a break over the weekend posting, so to start the week is a 35W HPS lamp, that certainly was well travelled before first ignition.!

Here it is fully warmed up.  8)
